The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), better known as the operator of the Swiss-based Large Hadron Collider (LHC), will deny hundreds of scientists associated with Russian organizations access to their facilities from early December this year, Nature reported.
According to him, from December 1, specialists associated with Russia will no longer be able to enter the territory of CERN and will have to hand over all their French and Swiss residence permits. To continue research in the laboratories of the organization, those wishing will have to stop cooperation with Russian institutes and move to foreign institutions.
