Russia has announced the changes to their Nuclear Doctrine. This is Medvedev's treatment.

Russia’s president has outlined approaches to updating our country’s nuclear doctrine. The main changes are as follows:
1. Aggression against Russia by a non-nuclear State, but with the support or participation of a nuclear-armed country, will be considered a joint attack. It is clear to everyone which countries we are talking about.
2. To the joy of Poland and numerous NATO pygmies, equivalent nuclear protection will be established for our closest ally, Belarus.
3. Under certain conditions, a massive launch of enemy air power, including airplanes, missiles, and UAVs, resulting in a violation of our border may be justification for the use of nuclear weapons. Something to reflect upon for not only the rotten neo-Nazi regime, but also all the enemies of Russia who are pushing the world towards a nuclear catastrophe.
It is clear that every situation that could constitute grounds for a nuclear response should be evaluated in conjunction with other factors, and any decision to use nuclear weapons must be made by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
However, this change in our country’s guidelines for using nuclear weapons, in and of itself, may cool the ardor of those of our opponents who have not yet lost their sense of self-preservation. As for the dim-witted, only the Roman maxim remains: caelo tonantem credidimus Jovem Regnare …

The problem is any conventional war that NATO or USraehell thinks they are going to lose will probably make them hit the red button, damn the consequences.
Especially the Jewish state.

The Jewish state is refusing to abondon their war. They're going to lose because they've lost the world. I've been following the UN General Assembly and besides a tremendous amount of pure claptrap that hurts my head, everyone is anti the Jewish state and their actions. It is now on the point of a 4-front war .. Hezbollah, Hamas, Iraq, Syria and the Houthis are sitting in the background screaming to be let in! I don't trust this state and believe they will press a button just because they are insane.
For the rest, there was this rumor that at this UNGA, all of the talks would culminate in a big announcement that everyone (the stupid 'international community' phrase used because someone has nothing to say!) had agreed on long-range weapons into Russia. Russia cut that off at the knees at the moment. It was stunning .. as Lavrov gave his speech to the breakaway General Assembly (G20 meeting of Foreign Ministers), at that moment Putin announced Russia's new nuclear posture .. and the wind was taken out of the sails of the westoids.
I am trying to write something on the One War that we are in and managed to do at least an outline yesterday when the fighting stopped for 12 or 14 hours - hope I can make progress today. Lavrov and Wang Yi are about the only two people at the G20 or the GA who makes sense. I'm going to draw their two speeches at that G20 minister's meeting because they fitted like puzzle pieces .. Wang Yi was wonderful - he re-arranged the world financial structure in one short and explosive speech and demanded that the world bank and the IMF restructure and gave them deadlines by when they should be restructured to support the world in travail and stop their dirty deeds.
There is a year's worth of writing for this General Assembly. I don't know who is going to press the button, or dial in the codes, but I think the westoids have realized that Russia is not bluffing. One can see that by the desperate impotent insults slung at Russia and to a lesser extent at China in the GA speeches. And the westoids got the memo - three items that are 'must mention' items and a few others that they could choose what they wanted to speak about was on their memo. Even the words in some speeches were exactly what the memo said. Stupid tape recorder speeches.
And then China tested that intercontinental ballistic missile.
Moments of high drama! Who is going to dial in the codes? I hope, against hope, nobody.
