I had not heard the Butterfly Lovers concerto. I love the conductor's Beethoven-esque coiffure and the drama of the violinist. Based on a Chinese legend is cool too.
Don't laugh, but the Russian cut would make a great tune for a James Bond soundtrack, not taking the lyrics into consideration.
